Sporting a beautiful green plumage they hold a orange coloring’s on their wings to which the Orange winged Amazon parrot gets its name.A very active bird, they require a large enclosure or cage. This allows them to exercise, as well as hours in a bird safe room or supervised out of cage. This allows them to stretch and explore and reduces boredom. In addition this bird enjoys bathing time frequently. Providing a bowl of water for them to enjoy once a week can be beneficial including occasional misting.
