Baby Alexandrine talking parrots, also known as parakeets are one of the best talking parrots. Largest of the Asiatic parakeets, these birds are stockier. With a large red beak and beautiful green plumage, this is paired with a yellow green abdominal area and a red patch on their shoulders. Here at Birds4U pet shop, our baby Alexandrine talking parrots are 5-6-7 months old. This makes them the perfect age for taming and bonding. A very hardy, strong and confident parrot they are quick learners and can often become a one person bird bonding with a singular person the more interaction is given.
A very active bird, they require a large enclosure or cage. This allows them to exercise, as well as hours in a bird safe room or supervised out of cage. This allows them to stretch and explore and reduces boredom. In addition this bird enjoys bathing time frequently. Providing a bowl of water for them to enjoy once a week can be beneficial including occasional misting. We stock a wide range of cages, toys and accessories suitable for Alexandrine talking parrots.
