Here at Birds4U we hold a variety of conure species. A comical, playful and cuddly species, the Pineapple conure parrot is very mild in temperament and friendly. They will become easily attached to house members and are an ideal companion bird. As with many other conure species, Pineapple conures can be easily tamed. Furthermore, continued human interaction will not only ensure bonding but also prevent aggression as they get older. The pineapple conure parrots’ talking skills will be enhanced with training, but their talking ability is not strong. They are able to learn a handful of words and sounds, as well as some tricks. Our Pineapple Conure Parrots are 4-5 months old, making them the perfect age to tame and bond with.
A variation of the Green cheeked conure. With a tan colour head and yellow/ green sides, their bright red chest is vibrant. The baby Pineapple conure parrots exotic beauty makes them a key feature in any bird collection. However their cheeky personality and laid back personalities make them a great pet for your home as well. Furthermore, they are intelligent and a very active species, more so in the mornings. Enjoying a variety of perches and toys to keep them stimulated. This in turn prevents them becoming bored or stressed easily. Similarly, exercise time out of cage/ enclosure can be beneficial including the chance to bathe will enhance their enrichment.
